Let me introduce myself...
My Name is Steve Brown
Born in Liverpool, 1964
Migrated to Wrexham over 12 years ago.

When in my Teens, I spent some time at RAF West Raynham (near a town called Swaffham, in Norfolk). While there, Flying in a two seater "Dehaviland Chipmunk", learning how to Pilot the aircraft and experiencing Aerobatics. RAF West Raynham was closed in 1994.

You can see my work at the Wrexham Today website, of which I am a Photographer. Here you will find a fantastic wealth of information about the Wrexham area, and what's been going on, in and around the Town. The site is run by freelance writer, Jane Redfern Jones. Jane also produces the website for the Glyn Valley Tramway Group.

My Photography ranges from beautiful landscapes to getting the shots of Celebrities visiting the Wrexham and surrounding areas. I also got my "O" level equivalent through the Yale College, Wrexham with the use of Adobe Photoshop. This is very handy for Photograph Manipulations. I used to make Airport Scenery for the Fly2 Flight simulator, and create the new paint jobs (or repaints) for the Aircraft.

NASA's Kennedy Space Center...



A few years ago, I won a Millennium Award and went to the Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
While there, I went through the Astronaut Training Experience (ATX). This was going through a Mission on a Full size simulator of the Discovery Space Shuttle. Our goal, to work our way from Launch to Landing, including all the bits in between.



We were given a VIP tour of NASA, visiting the Launch Pad, and where they are making the International Space Station (ISS). The Astronaut we had with us was Don Peterson (Colonel, USAF, ret.) He was one of the first to do a Spacewalk from the Space Shuttle. Since we did this, the Astronaut Training Experience is now open to the paying public.

Here I am with my Family... Cerys my Daughter now age 7, Little old me, and Gill my Wife. The Photograph was take on the London Eye. Gill is a Seamstress by Trade, but accompanies me while out on Photographic trips. Both Gill and Cerys love Crafting! We have 2 Dogs, 1 Cat & 2 Hampsters
